One dies after car rolls in North Canterbury

One person has been killed and three others injured after a crash in Sefton just before 8pm yesterday.

Emergency services were notified at 7.55pm that a car had rolled on Rangiora Leithfield Road, near Pembertons Road.

Police said the person died at the scene.

Three others suffered injuries and were taken to hospital.

The Serious Crash Unit attended the scene, and the circumstances of the crash are under investigation.
