People are looking for politics to be ‘practised differently’

Former Labor advisor Tom Cameron says people are looking for politics to be “practised differently”.

“The reality of the election outcome where you basically saw the electorate split into a third, a third, a third with … the major parties taking two thirds and then the others, be they from the left or right of the spectrum, constituting the final third,” he told Sky News Australia.

“What that tells us, the electoral arithmetic of that, is that people are looking for politics to be practised differently.”
