PJ Washington and his girlfriend, Alisha, are the proud parents of a son named Preston Julian Washington. The NBA player announced the arrival of his son on Instagram.
“No better feeling,” PJ said of his life as a dad. Dozens took to the comments section to celebrate the arrival of Preston. “Congrats,” one fan said. “Blessings, man,” another social media follower shared.
PJ and Alisha have been in courtship for several months. The NBA star took to Instagram in July to commemorate his girlfriend’s birthday.
“Since the day we met we have been attached at the hip, and I wouldn’t want it any other way,” PJ wrote to his girlfriend. “We have had so many great experiences and memories in such little time,” Washington shared.
“You have shown me love and affection when I needed it the most, you have always been there for our kids. You go out of your way to make others happy, you encourage everybody to do better and be better. We have grown a lot together and I’m so glad we met. I can’t wait to spend the rest of my time with you. I’m forever grateful for everything you do. I Love you, babe.”
Preston is PJ Washington’s second child. The NBA star welcomed a little one with Instagram influencer Brittany Renner last year. Washington expressed sadness over the difficulties in co-parenting with Renner that ultimately led to him not being able to see his son as often. He even accused her of “faking it all along” when it came to their marriage.
Even with the challenges, PJ and Brittany managed to come to terms with child support payments that included him giving her $200,000 per year in financial support. PJ even celebrated his oldest son’s first birthday this past May with a birthday cake. “I love you, son,” the celebrity father said.
