ANN ARBOR, MI – A man accused of robbing a cellphone store in downtown Ann Arbor in the middle of the day Monday has been arrested and charged with multiple felonies.
Deon Andrew Bell was arraigned Friday, Oct. 14, of six felony charges in connection with the robbery of the T-Mobile Store.
Bell, 27, was identified as a suspect in the robbery after reviewing surveillance video from the store, according to the Ann Arbor Police Department.
He now faces two counts each of armed robbery, carrying a concealed weapon and felony firearms.

Bell was on parole at the time of the robbery after severing several years in prison on drug charges as well as fleeing an eluding charges, according to the Michigan Department of Corrections.
Police were called shortly after 2:55 p.m. Monday, Oct. 10, to the T-Mobile store located at 200 E. Washington Street in downtown Ann Arbor for a reported armed robbery that had just occurred, police said.
Employees reported a man walked into the store, pulled out a handgun and order the employees to fill is backpack with cell phones and cash, police said. The incident was caught on store surveillance, too,
Staff complied with the gunman’s demands and filled his bag with 13 electronic devices totaling $7,300 in value along with an unspecified amount of cash from the register. The gunman then fled on foot, police said.
Bond was set at $100,000 cash or surety with no 10 percent.
He is scheduled for a probable cause conferencing hearing Oct 27.
