Police are trying to find a person of interest in Browns Bay, on Auckland’s North Shore.
Residents in the area on Tuesday evening reported seeing armed police, as well as the eagle helicopter flying overhead on East Coast Road near Oaktree Avenue. The road now closed.
A police spokesperson said police in the area were working to locate a person of interest.
