Fresh off of announcing his three-year contract extension, the 23-year-old has just opened the scoring for PSG against Metz.

Mbappe was presented to PSG fans ahead of their final Ligue 1 game of the season against Metz at the Parc de Princes.

The France international told the crowd: “I’m really happy to continue the adventure here at Paris Saint-Germain. To stay in Paris, my city.

“I hope that I will continue to do what I prefer to with you all,and win titles together. Thanks a lot”.

La Liga are filing a complaint to UEFA, the French administrative courts and the European Union over Kylian Mbappe’s contract renewal at Paris Saint-Germain, the Spanish league have announced.

An official statement from La Liga on Saturday said that it was “scandalous” that PSG could afford to make the deal, stating that it “attacks the integrity of European football”.

PSG have confirmed Mbappe’s contract extension until June 2025.

In a statement on the club website, Mbappe said: “I would like to announce that I have chosen to extend my contract at Paris Saint-Germain, and of course I am delighted.

“I am convinced that here I can continue to grow at a club that provides everything necessary to perform at the highest level. I am also delighted to continue to play in France, the country where I was born, where I have grown up and where I have made my name.”

It’s been an entertaining first half in the Women’s Champions League final, and Lyon are in control.

Amandine Henry scored a spectacular opener before Ada Hegerberg headed in a second for Lyon.

Catarina Macario added a third, then Alexia Putellas pulled one back for Barcelona.

Kylian Mbappe has signed a new three-year contract at PSG.

La Liga president Javier Tebas has labelled Paris Saint-Germain’s contract offer to Kylian Mbappe as an “insult to football”.

Tebas, however, expressed his displeasure with the news, posting on Twitter that PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi is “as dangerous as the Super League”.

He is also PSG’s second-highest scorer with 168 goals and could surpass Edinson Cavani’s record of 200 next season.

Mbappe’s non-transfer reflects the shifting power dynamics in European football.
