The first lady to be Rachel Ruto has stepped out in an exquisite dress while accompanying her husband, President-elect William Ruto to his swearing-in ceremony.

Ruto is expected to take his oath of office as the fifth president of Kenya alongside his deputy Rigathi Gachagua with whom they won the August 9 elections.
While leaving their Karen residence, Rachel was dressed in a gorgeous African print floor-length dress and a red clutch bag. Her beauty was further accentuated by her gorgeous make-up and a huge smile.

On his part, the president-elect also looked stylish in his back suit, blue shirt and yellow tie.
Ruto, Rachel received in Kasarani with heroic cheers
Upon their arrival at Kasarani, the president-elect and his wife were received amid deafening cheers and jubilation from the crowd.
They were accorded a heroic welcome even as Ruto shook hands with the heads of state who have already arrived at Kasarani.
Kenyans started arriving at the venue as early as 3am and by 5am, the police said the stadium was already filled to capacity.
Police spokesperson Bruno Shioso was forced to implore Kenyans to make alternative arrangements to view the proceedings, especially from the comfort of their homes.

The president-elect’s children were also spotted leaving Karen for their dad’s swearing-in ceremony.

Nick Ruto wore a black suit, white shirt and yellow tie, while his younger brother George wore a dark blue suit, white shirt and maroon tie.
Ruto’s Nigerian son-in-law Alex Ezenagu wore a blue suit, maroon tie and white shirt.
