South Korea’s military on Tuesday (December 27) apologized for its failure to shoot down North Korean drones which crossed into the South’s airspace a day earlier, pledging to secure anti-drone strike capabilities. Kang Shin-chul, a senior official at the Joint Chiefs of Staff said the drones, each measuring about 3 meters, were too small to easily intercept.
