Snowfalls have impacted the delivery of The Southland Times.
There will be no rural deliveries of the newspaper in Southland on Thursday because of the bad weather.
The urban areas of Gore and Invercargill are expected to have papers delivered.

Heavy snow started falling in Gore on Wednesday.
Snow has fallen throughout the South Island, including in Southland, Dunedin and Christchurch.
The weather has led to road closures around the South Island.
MetService has said more snow will fall on Thursday.
