Taylor Hawkins’ son Oliver Shane joins band for tribute concert.
16-year-old Oliver Shane, son of late Foo Fighter’s drummer Taylor Hawkins, joined his father’s band for a rendition of My Hero during their tribute concert for Hawkins.
Photos of the father-son duo played on background screens before revealing Shane in place of his father.
During the performance, Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl turned to Shane, appearing to encourage the teenager as the pair played together.

The six-hour tribute concert took place at London’s Wembley Arena over the weekend, with guest appearances from Paul McCartney, Queen, Liam Gallagher, and Grohl’s own daughter, Violet.
This is the first time the Foo Fighters have played together since Hawkins’ passing in March.
Oliver is Hawkins’ oldest son with wife Alison Hawkins. They also share daughters Annabelle, 13, and Everleigh, 8.
