A luxurious Thai estate that served as a key filming location for the buzzy third season of HBO’s “The White Lotus” is now available for rent on Airbnb — offering fans a chance to step into the world of the hit series.
Situated on a hilltop near Koh Samui’s Chaweng Beach, the property — dubbed “Samujana Twenty-Seven” — is portrayed as the residence of character Greg, played by Jon Gries, who adopts the alias Gary in the latest installment.
The villa gained attention as the backdrop for a dramatic party scene in the season’s finale, which aired on Sunday.
The sprawling modernist retreat features four bedrooms and five bathrooms, accommodating up to eight guests.
Each bedroom includes an ensuite bath and terrace access — while the property boasts an infinity pool, an outdoor grill, a fitness center and panoramic views of the Gulf of Thailand.
Additional perks like a wine fridge and a sunken living room add to its appeal, though the listing doesn’t include the show’s signature intrigue — such as illicit affairs or enigmatic identity shifts.
Optional services, including chauffeurs, childcare, chef-prepared meals and spa treatments, are available for an added fee, alongside access to a tennis court and shared beachfront.
Pricing fluctuates with demand. A two-night stay in mid-May costs approximately $2,100 per night, while a three-night minimum in July jumps to $2,378 nightly, totaling $7,136.
Guests receive complimentary airport transfers, a welcome beverage, daily breakfast, Wi-Fi, housekeeping and round-the-clock security.
Interest in Koh Samui spiked after the filming location was publicized, with Airbnb reporting an 80% surge in searches in 2024 compared to the previous year.
The prime travel season, marked by cooler, drier weather, spans January and February.
David Bernad, a producer for the series, discussed the property in an interview with People, highlighting its logistical challenges.
“Beautiful” yet “quite far” from other shooting sites, the villa posed difficulties for the production team during the five-month shoot.
To manage time constraints, Bernad and series creator Mike White resided very close by.
“We stayed in the house next door just to save on time because our hotel was so far away from that location,” he explained. “But yeah, that’s an actual Airbnb in a really nice neighborhood.”
The villa is one of several real-world properties that brought the fictional White Lotus resort to life.
The season utilized four luxury venues: the Four Seasons Koh Samui and Anantara Bophut Koh Samui on the island, plus Anantara Mai Khao Phuket Villas and Rosewood Phuket, located 200 miles away on Phuket in the Andaman Sea.
Beyond the rental, visitors can explore cast-frequented haunts like Coco Tam’s, a beach bar where staff reserved a corner table for producer Bernad and actress Lalisa Manobal (Mook) — and 2 Fishes, a Mediterranean eatery favored by the crew.
The listing taps into a growing trend of experiential travel tied to popular media, with Koh Samui emerging as a hotspot for “White Lotus” enthusiasts.
