With the help of TBWA\NZ, a new campaign is showing Kiwis that when it comes to finding a bargain, nobody does it like The Warehouse.
Featuring the classic earworm, Lou Bega’s Mambo No. 5 – sung by a Kiwi mum on a mission to save her family’s day – an updated product line and low prices, the campaign showcases The Warehouse is the one-stop shop in Aotearoa.
It follows the journey of three Kiwi families, all navigating the shopping challenges of everyday life. From stocking up on summer BBQ essentials to scrambling for Christmas gifts, The Warehouse proves that it’s the place to turn to when everything seems a little chaotic.
Ultimate family retailer
“This campaign celebrates The Warehouse’s legacy of being the ultimate family retailer while adding a playful twist. We wanted to remind Kiwis that no matter the occasion, The Warehouse is the place to go when you need to find everything, all in one place. And you can have fun while finding it,” says Shane Bradnick, CCO at TBWA\NZ.
With three executions already launched, the campaign has quickly become a hit with Kiwis, with more to come.
“We’ve always been the place where Kiwi families can find everything they need, and this campaign highlights that with a bit of style and a lot of fun,” says Jo Mitchell, General Manager of Marketing at The Warehouse.
“The response has been incredible, and it’s great to see how well the campaign is resonating with Kiwis. From the catchy tune to the relatable moments, it’s clear that our messaging is landing,” adds Jo.
Shopping adventures
With a top 10 ad ranking on TRA and growing buzz across TV, OLV, digital, radio and social platforms, TBWA\NZ is set to build on this success with even more joyful jingles and relatable family moments.
The Warehouse is not just a store – it’s the place where shopping for every occasion becomes an adventure.
The next set of executions is set to roll out in April.
