With that in mind, this guide covers current promotions across the major hotel chains. You can bookmark this page for regularly updated offers, links and other information about your favorite hotel programs. We’ll also discuss which offers will get you the most bang for your buck.

This article focuses on limited-time promotions and excludes ongoing offers like AAA/AARP member discounts. Further, the list doesn’t include ongoing offers on cobranded hotel credit cards, but you can check out the following links for details on these cards:

Limited-time credit card hotel discounts
Amex Offers and Chase Offers can bring big discounts to the table. Here are a few targeted offers the TPG staff found on their credit cards — check your cards and see if you have them too.
Amex Offers
American Express is currently offering several hotel promotions for select cardholders via its Amex Offers program, including:
- Fairmont Hotels & Resorts — Europe: Spend $500 or more, get $100 back (expires Sept. 30).
- Relais & Chateaux — U.S. and Europe: Spend $500 or more, get $100 back (expires Oct. 15).
- Opal Collection — select locations: Spend $500 or more, get $100 back (expires Dec. 15).
- Grand Hyatt: Spend $300 or more, get $60 back (expires Dec. 15).
- MGM Resorts — select destinations: Spend $400 or more, get $80 back (expires Nov. 30).
- MGM Resorts — luxury destinations: Spend $700 or more, get $140 back (expires Nov. 30).
- Preferred Hotels & Resorts — U.S. and select international: Spend $500 or more, get $100 back (expires Dec. 15).
- The Ned NoMad Hotel: Spend $500 or more, get $100 back (expires Dec. 31).
- Sunset Tower Hotel — West Hollywood: Spend $500 or more, get $100 back (expires Nov. 30).
- Hotel Casa del Mar Santa Monica: Spend $500 or more, get $100 back (expires Dec. 13).
- Lotte Hotel Seattle: Spend $500 or more, get $100 back (expires Nov. 10).
Remember that Amex Offers are targeted. So, you should check your offers and enroll in any that interest you.

Chase Offers
At present, there is a handful of Chase Offers where you can receive discounts on stays, including:
- Fairfield by Marriott: 15% back when you spend $100 or more, with a maximum of $57 (expires Sept. 23).
- Hyatt Place: 15% back when you spend $100 or more, with a maximum of $38 (expires Sept. 24).
- Holiday Inn: 15% back when you spend $100 or more, with a maximum of $64.50 (expires Sept. 21).
- Hyatt House: 15% back when you spend $100 or more, with a maximum of $38 (expires Sept. 24).
- TownePlace Suites by Marriott: 15% back when you spend $100 or more, with a maximum of $88.50 (expires Sept. 30).

Accor Live Limitless
Accor Live Limitless is not currently offering any points bonuses.

Best Western
Best Western has several promotions, offering truly unlimited points-earning capabilities in 2022.

Choice Privileges
Choice Privileges is offering a promotion where you can save 20% on stays of two or more nights. Some stays are excluded, so read the terms and conditions before your stay. You must register for this promotion before checkout to receive the bonus points.
