In the history of the NBA, there have been few purer point guards than Chris Paul.
That’s how he earned the moniker Point God. NBA analysts wouldn’t bestow that nickname on just anybody. Throughout his career, Paul has earned it.
In some respects, his tour on the Phoenix Suns has been the most impressive of his career.
Paul took a lottery team and turned them into championship contenders. That will always be part of his legacy.
Unfortunately, he’s beginning to show signs of aging. At this point, how could he not?
Still, the Suns need to begin preparing for life after Paul and looking for his replacement.
Could it be Fred VanVleet?
