Travis Scott reportedly wanted by police for allegedly punching man in nightclub

Kylie Jenner‘s on-off boyfriend Travis Scott is reportedly wanted by New York police on assault and criminal mischief charges.

Police sources told Page Six the 30-year-old rapper is accused of punching a sound engineer in the face at Manhattan nightclub Nebula after a verbal and physical altercation, causing $US12,000 ($17,000) worth of damage to equipment including a video screen and speaker.

According to the outlet, the alleged “fast and furious” incident happened within 10 minutes of Scott arriving at the venue after he was allegedly “upset about the sound” after the sound engineer lowered the volume on the speakers because Scott had it “blasting and distorted”.

“Travis came in angry and intoxicated and progressively went postal,” a source claimed, while another said: “Travis then walks over to the soundman yelling aggressively in his face on why he lowered the sound, then he smacks the soundman right across the face.”

The alleged altercation reportedly caused “a big commotion” between Scott’s personal security guards and club security before the rapper departed the nightclub in an unknown vehicle.

Page Six notes that only a complaint was made after the alleged blow-up and Scott has not been arrested in connection to the alleged incident.

This isn’t Scott’s first brush with the law. In 2018, the Goosebumps singer pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct after being arrested in Arkansas the year prior on charges including inciting a riot, which left two people injured at his concert.

“Obviously, [Scott] would not in any way want a riot to break out at his concert. That would not be good for him as an entertainer,” his lawyer said in a statement at the time.

“To think that he incited one is ridiculous. We think the police way overcharged him. The prosecutor’s office finally did the right thing – they made an offer that he agreed to … If anyone was hurt, Travis expressed concern from the beginning. He wanted to make sure those people were taken care of.”

In 2021, Scott and touring company Live Nation faced backlash and lawsuits when a stampede broke out at his Astroworld Festival concert in Houston, Texas, killing 10 people. The cases were settled out of court with both Scott and the entertainment company denying any wrongdoing.

“I didn’t know the exact details [of the incident] until minutes before the press conference [after my set],” he said in a YouTube interview with Charlamagne Tha God, his first since the tragedy.

“And even at that moment you’re like, ‘Wait, what?’ People pass out, things happen at concerts, but something like that …”

Scott’s recent drama comes just two months after his split from Jenner, 25, who is the mother of his children: Stormi, five, and Aire, one.

Clear examples do more than decorate an explanation: they show how an idea behaves under recognizable conditions. In education and software documentation alike, strong illustrations begin with a defined goal, then reveal the steps, assumptions, and result without unnecessary detail. A practical test example should state the input, expected output, and boundary condition, because these elements show whether a rule works beyond the simplest case. Including a contrasting case also helps readers distinguish a valid application from a tempting but incorrect one, while concise notes explain why the outcomes differ. When examples are updated with current data and checked against the underlying rule, they remain useful across classrooms, product guides, and professional training.
