Gauteng police have arrested two people in connection with the murder of 5-year-old Ditebogo Junior Phalane during a hijacking at his Soshanguve home.
Ditebogo was killed when armed men hijacked his father’s vehicle.
According to Gauteng police commissioner Lieutenant General Tommy Mthombeni, the men were taken into custody on Thursday.
They were arrested in separate locations in Soshanguve.
It is alleged that each of them were in possession of an unlicensed firearm.
