Police are a searching for a man over the theft of $18,000 worth of liquor from bottle shops in Melbourne’s southern and eastern suburbs.
Bottles of high-end spirits, particularly whiskeys, have been stolen from liquor shops in Mulgrave, Burwood, Berwick, Lyndhurst, Forest Hill, Cheltenham, Malvern, Malvern East, Chadstone, Parkdale, and Karingal throughout September and this month.
Police have released photos captured on CCTV of a man they are looking for over the thefts.
Anyone who recognises the man or who has information about the thefts is urged to contact police.
