‘Well over time’: Major changes for cosmetic surgeons

Liberal Party Vice President Teena McQueen says it’s well over time for major changes to be introduced for cosmetic surgeons.

Under a series of changes agreed to by state and federal health ministers, doctors will now be banned from calling themselves cosmetic surgeons if they don’t have suitable qualifications.

“I welcome this change,” Ms McQueen told Sky News host Jenna Clarke.

“You know, cowboys have to be booted out. It’s been disgraceful.”
