La Crosse, WI (KROC AM News) – March may be coming in like a lion in southeast Minnesota but there is a threat of a winter storm hitting the region during the upcoming weekend.
The National Weather Service office in La Crosse reported Monday morning it is “keeping an eye on a low-pressure system that could bring impactful weather to the area this weekend. Rain, snow, and a wintry mix are all possible. “
The agency says the current information indicates there could be a wintry mix and heavy rain Saturday and then snow on Sunday.
Possible rainfall and snowfall totals are not yet available.
