A woman in her 20s is in a critical condition after a car collided with a tree in the early hours of Christmas Day, authorities have said.
At around 12.40am on Beeches Avenue, Carshalton, a car with six people inside left the road and collided with a tree.
The London Ambulance Services attended where they found two women in the 20s with serious injuries.

The women, both occupants of the car, were rushed to a hospital while the other four occupants received treatment for lesser injuries.
One of the women remains in a critical condition, while the other’s injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the collision remain ongoing.
The Metropolitan Police are appealing for witnesses.
