Delays or cancellations between Alexandra Palace and Finsbury Park are expected after a person was hit by a train.
The incident happened in the early hours on Sunday morning (January 2) between the two stations, with the incident created on National Rail’s official website at 12.53am.
The welfare of the individual has not been disclosed.
A statement on Great Northern’s Twitter account read: “It is with great sadness that we report a person has been hit by a train between Alexandra Palace and Finsbury Park.
“All lines are blocked between these stations whilst the emergency services work to deal with this incident.”
National Rail added that “disruption is expected to continue until approximately 03:00” with train tickets valid on any London bus route from Finsbury Park.
