A 26-year-old man has been charged after a violent assault in a Queenstown bar on Tuesday.
A man received a laceration to his neck and needed medical treatment.
The assault happened at a bar on Church Street shortly after midnight.
The police say the 26-year-old has been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
He is due to appear in the Queenstown District Court on Monday.
