The new feature allows users to select who can see and engage with their tweets.
Before sending a tweet, you can now choose to send it to all of your followers or just a custom circle.
A circle can contain up to 150 people. You can change who is in a circle at any time, and others users.
Any tweet sent to your circle will appear with a green badge underneath. They can’t be retweeted or shared. All replies will be private, even if you have a public account.
Twitter is a free download on the App Store and is for the iPhone and all iPad models. The Circle feature is also available on the web version of the social networking service.
