It’s that time of the week again when we round up all the best new movie trailers and TV teasers released over the past seven days. Today’s list includes all new titles headed to popular streaming platforms. This week we have some big properties hitting Netflix and Amazon Prime Video. So have a seat, hit play, and enjoy this week’s hot new trailers.
The best new movie trailers and TV show teasers for upcoming streaming titles
All Quiet on the Western Front
We’re starting on a pretty grim note. Edward Berger brings the best-selling book about soldiers’ harrowing experiences during the First World War to life. It’s a gripping trailer, told through the lens of Paul and his German comrades, as their initial high spirits are tested by the trenches. If you’ve read the book, you’ll want to watch this trailer. The flick lands on Netflix on October 28.
Luckiest Girl Alive
Mila Kunis stars as Ani, a New York writer with the job, the partner, and the lavish life. But all this is threatening to unravel when she meets a documentary maker intent on delving into her mysterious, possibly murderous past. Was she a hero or an accomplice? Find out when Luckiest Girl Alive drops on Netflix on October 7.
The Good Nurse
Jessica Chastain stars as a nurse who suspects her colleague (Eddie Redmayne) may be responsible for multiple deaths in hospitals across the country. If the flick is anything like the trailer, expect a well-manicured thriller. Tobias Lindholm helms the director’s chair. The Good Nurse drops on Netflix on October 26.
Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery
Daniel Craig headlines a ridiculously stacked cast in this comedy/murder mystery and the sequel to Rian Johnson’s Knives Out. Edward Norton, Kate Hudson, Dave Bautista, Janelle Monae, and Kathryn Hahn are just some of the other stars you’ll recognize in this flick. We won’t give too much away here, so watch the teaser trailer above.
My Policeman
Harry Styles and Emma Corrin star as Tom and Marion, lovers in 1950s Britain. However, their relationship is threatened when Tom falls for museum curator Patrick (David Dawson). Forty years later, the three have a chance to remedy the damage they caused in their past. The flick’s based on the book by Bethan Roberts and is directed by Michael Grandage. Catch it on Amazon Prime Video on November 4, and in theaters on October 21.
The Peripheral
Chloë Grace Moretz stars as Flynne Fisher, a woman struggling to hold her life together in small-town America. That all changes when she discovers a headset that can transport her mind into the body of a Londoner 70 years in the future. Initially, she thinks it’s virtual reality, but it’s all real. The show’s based on William Gibson’s work and lands on Amazon Prime Video on October 21.
