Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu recently told Secretary of State Antony Blinken that any U.S. recognition of a Palestinian state would be a “prize” for the Hamas terrorists who planned the Oct. 7 massacre.

Netanyahu made the comment to Blinken when the pair met face-to-face last week, Axios reported Thursday. The prime minister told Blinken that direct or even indirect recognition “would be a prize for those who planned and orchestrated the Oct. 7 massacre.”

President Biden and other U.S. officials have repeatedly said that Israel’s war against Hamas should end with a two-state solution, implying that the U.S. would recognize a Palestinian state.

The U.S. could potentially recognize a Palestinian state indirectly by not using its veto to stop the U.N. from fully recognizing Palestinian officials as a member state.

Israeli cabinet officials have also reportedly made it clear to Palestinian counterparts that a two-state solution is off the table.

Israeli national security adviser Tzachi Hanegbi also met with Palestinian minister Hussein al-Sheikh last week and told him he would receive the same answer from future Israeli governments, an Israeli official told Axios.

“It is not only the Likud government. There was no Palestinian state when we had other governments in Israel, so you need to be realistic and put forward more practical goals for the day after the war,” Hanegbi told al-Sheikh.

Biden first pushed for a two-state solution in a November 2023 opinion article in the Washington Post, arguing, “The Palestinian people deserve a state of their own and a future free from Hamas.”

Israel has made repeated efforts to negotiate a peace deal and two-state solution with Palestinian and Arab leaders over the past 75 years, but each offer has been rejected.

“I do not think a two-state solution is possible, and, even if possible, it is not advisable. For more than 50 years, hundreds of self-proclaimed ‘peacemakers,’ led by the United States, have attempted to coerce Israel and the Palestinians into a two-state solution,” former U.S. Ambassador to Israel David Friedman told Fox News Digital last month.

Friedman, who served as the U.S. ambassador under former President Trump, said, “The efforts repeatedly fail regardless of who’s in charge and the reasons are profound and immutable: 1) the Palestinians are not willing to accept a Jewish State; 2) the likelihood of a Palestinian state becoming a terror state is extremely high, presenting an existential threat to Israel; and 3) the West Bank (referred to by Biblical adherents as Judea and Samaria) is biblical Israel and, absent Israeli control, hundreds of Jewish and Christian holy sites will be destroyed.”

The Georgia judge overseeing the sweeping racketeering case against former president Donald Trump is set to hear evidence Thursday related to allegations that district attorney Fani Willis is having an “improper” affair and should be disqualified from the case. 

Fulton County Superior Judge Scott McAfee will hold an evidentiary hearing on Thursday starting at 9:30 a.m. and into Friday on allegations first brought by co-defendant GOP political operative Michael Roman earlier this year. 

The allegations in Roman’s court filings, which have been echoed by three subsequent co-defendants in the case, include that Willis was engaged in an “improper” relationship with special prosecutor Nathan Wade whom she hired to help prosecute Trump. 

Willis has admitted to having a “personal” relationship with Wade but has denied any conflict of interest. She also argued that according to Georgia law, in order for a district attorney to be forcibly removed from a case, the conflict of interest has to be harmful to a defendant’s case.

Judge McAfee said on Monday that depending on his findings after hearing the evidence presented from both sides, Willis could be disqualified from the case. 

“In studying the law that’s been filed up to this point, I think it’s clear that disqualification can occur if evidence is produced demonstrating an actual conflict or the appearance of one. And the filing submitted on this issue so far have presented a conflict in the evidence that can’t be resolved as a matter of law,” he said. 

McAfee was appointed to the bench by Republican Governor Brian Kemp in 2021. 

“Specifically looking at defendant Roman’s motion, it alleges a personal relationship that resulted in a financial benefit to the district attorney. And that is no longer a matter of complete speculation. The state has admitted a relationship existed. And so, what remains to be proven is the existence and extent of any financial benefit,” the judge said. 

“So, because I think it’s possible that the facts alleged by the defendant could result in disqualification, I think an evidentiary hearing must occur to establish the record on those core allegations,” he said. 

Ashleigh Merchant, lawyer for Michael Roman, will take center stage Thursday in presenting what she believes is enough evidence to disqualify Willis and her team. 

Terrence Bradley, Wade’s former law partner, will testify first on Thursday. His testimony will determine whether others will be required to testify. 

In legal filings last month, Roman alleged that Wade billed Fulton County for 24 hours of work on a single day in November 2021, shortly after being appointed as a special prosecutor, and that Willis financially benefited from her alleged lover’s padded taxpayer-funded salary by taking lavish vacations together on his dime. 

According to the court documents, Wade, who has no RICO and felony prosecution experience, billed taxpayers $654,000 since January 2022.  

Judge McAfee said Monday that “the particulars” of Wade’s experience will not be relevant in the evidentiary hearing, which will take place on Thursday, Feb. 15, adding, “in my mind as long as a lawyer has a heartbeat and a bar card that lawyer’s appointment standing alone is a matter within the District Attorney’s discretion.”

McAfee said the issues “at point” here are “whether a relationship existed, whether that relationship was romantic or non-romantic in nature, when it formed and whether it continues. And that’s only relevant because it’s in combination with the question of the existence and extent of any personal benefit conveyed as a result of their relationship.” 

Willis responded to the allegations in a court filing and admitted to having a “personal” relationship with Wade but denied any conflict of interest. She also argued that, according to Georgia law, in order for a district attorney to be forcibly removed from a case, the conflict of interest has to be harmful to a defendant’s case.

Willis told the Superior Court that while the allegations against her are “salacious,” they have no “merit.”

Willis claims that while she and Wade “have been professional associates and friends since 2019,” there was “no personal relationship” between her and Wade in November 2021 at the time of Wade’s appointment, and that Roman and his lawyers “offer no support for their insistence that the exercise of any prosecutorial discretion (i.e., any charging decision or plea recommendation) in this case was impacted by any personal relationship.”

Willis’ filing said Roman’s motions “attempt to cobble together entirely unremarkable circumstances of Special Prosecutor Wade’s appointment with completely irrelevant allegations about his personal family life into a manufactured conflict of interest on the part of the District Attorney.”

The state has also revealed that DA Willis’ father will be testifying on Thursday, remotely from California.

San Francisco’s decision to receive the ball in overtime against the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LVIII wound up burning them.

After the 49ers settled for a field goal, Patrick Mahomes marched Kansas City down the field for the game-winning score and the Chiefs’ second straight Super Bowl victory. 

Niners head coach Kyle Shanahan decided to take the ball, even with the new playoff overtime rules that allow each team to possess the football and took a lot of heat for the call.

Multiple 49ers players said they were unaware of the new overtime playoff rules after the loss. 

“You know what? I didn’t even realize the playoff rules were different in overtime,” 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk said after the game, via ESPN. “I assume you just want the ball to score a touchdown and win. I guess that’s not the case. I don’t totally know the strategy there. We hadn’t talked about it, no.”

Shanahan explained on Sunday that he wanted to football so that San Francisco could have the third possession with a chance to win the game. On Tuesday, Shanahan and 49ers general manager John Lynch dove deeper into the decision.

“We did say, and we told everyone as we were waiting for the coin toss, hey, review everyone with them, make sure they’re sure before we go out,” Shanahan said when asked if it was important for the players to know the new overtime rules. “So, we asked a position coach to do that. But I didn’t cover it in a meeting on the Super Bowl week. I don’t think that changes anything.”

“We did it with our analytics department. We decided that going into the playoffs. I think you guys know how I explained how I make decisions with that stuff in the past. I take all the information I can get. Especially ones I haven’t been in. Our analytics felt that was the best way to go. But as you guys know, I don’t always just go with that. I take into account what they say, what they think is right, and then I go off my gut in the heat of battle.”

Shanahan added that his defense had been on the field for a long time to end the fourth quarter.

“I believe we had just closed… I think it was an 11-play drive that we had just closed the game with,” 49ers general manager John Lynch chimed in. “And when you’re playing Mahomes, you’re chasing him a lot. So, there’s a lot of effort that’s expended. And I think the context from there is you need some time to get fresh. So, all those things play into it. And those were sound decisions.” 

San Francisco’s loss was Shanahan’s second in the Super Bowl after the 49ers fell to Kansas City in Super Bowl LIV.

Marking a milestone in the Notre Dame Cathedral’s renaissance, the scaffolding surrounding the Paris attraction was removed on Tuesday.

The medieval Catholic cathedral’s scaffolding has been taken down in recent days, revealing the cathedral’s new spire for the first time, which is adorned with a golden rooster and a cross.

A resident near the cathedral, Frederico Benani, told the Associated Press that he felt emotional at the sight of the new spire.

“I can open the window in the morning. I see Notre Dame. I see the spire — it’s for me, beautiful, and it’s much better (than) before,” Benani said. “It gives us hope.”

The iconic structure was ravaged by fire in April 2019, leaving it in severe disrepair. The new spire is the latest milestone in the restoration of the cathedral’s former glory. 

In a symbol of resilience and renewal, a new golden rooster, reimagined as a phoenix with flaming feathers, was installed atop the spire in December, marking the cathedral’s rise from the ashes.

Other restoration efforts include the implementation of an anti-fire misting system beneath the cathedral’s roof and the recreation of the original cross.

Notre Dame is on track in its renovation process and is expected to reopen in Dec. 2024.

The cathedral will not be open to the public during the Paris Olympics in July and August, when the city will host millions for the Summer Games.

Much of the cathedral remains surrounded by scaffolding, which could take weeks if not months to remove.

The spire alone, cathedral officials said, was protected by some 70,000 pieces of scaffolding, totaling a dizzying 600 tons.

French President Emmanuel Macron set a target of five years – which will be when France is set to host the 2024 Summer Olympics – for the completion of Notre Dame restoration efforts.

Cost estimates of the repairs came to around $1.13 billion to $2.3 billion.

The scrutiny aimed at President Biden following the damaging report released last week by Special Counsel Robert Hur has breathed new life into the belief Democrats will ultimately replace him as the party’s nominee ahead of the 2024 general election.

In building his argument for why no charges were recommended following an investigation into Biden’s mishandling of classified documents, Hur detailed in part that Biden’s defense of any potential charges could possibly be that, “Mr. Biden would likely present himself to a jury, as he did during our interview of him, as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.”

The report cited examples when investigators said the president’s memory lapsed, including over when his older son Beau had died, and caused a heightened level of concern among Democrats who previously backed the president despite Republican attacks on his ability to serve.

Here are five of the top names being mentioned as potential replacements for Biden should he decide — or is pressured — not to run for a second term:

1. California Gov. Gavin Newsom

Newsom has, perhaps, been the most often mentioned name as a potential presidential nominee given his outspoken criticism of national Republican figures, as well as his high-profile clash with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis at a debate hosted by Fox News last year.

Democrat strategists and members of the media continually mention him as a future presidential hopeful, but that future could come sooner rather than later should Biden’s plans change.

Douglas Schoen, a former advisor to President Clinton, wrote in an op-ed last summer that Newsom “wants to run for president in 2024,” but was backing Biden for re-election to garner support for himself.

“Gavin Newsom wants to run for president in 2024, that much is clear. The California governor would not be campaigning for President Joe Biden in red states with 16 months until the presidential election if he wasn’t trying to prove his own political bona fides and build a future base of national support for himself,” he wrote.

2. Vice President Kamala Harris

Harris’ presidential ambitions have been known since her first unsuccessful run for the White House in 2020, when she failed to gain support over her Democrat primary opponents, including Biden.

Despite her low approval rating and frequent gaffes as vice president, she continues to insist she’s “ready to serve” as commander-in-chief if necessary.

Media figures have also mentioned her as a potential replacement for Biden, including the hosts of ABC’s daytime gabfest, “The View,” who suggested she could be a better nominee than Biden following the Hur report.

“Why not the vice president? Why wouldn’t Democrats put up the vice president?” one host said.

3. Former First Lady Michelle Obama

Obama has been one of the more surprising names floated as a potential replacement for Biden, considering her lack of political experience, although the same could have been said for former President Donald Trump during his first White House run.

Former Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, one of the first to float the theory that Obama would replace Biden, doubled down following the release of the Hur report. He has been joined by other media figures and former officials.

“The main obstacle stopping the Democratic Party is they have a Kamala Harris problem, which is to say that if they do sideline Biden, the natural person normally that would be the nominee, could be the vice president of that same sitting president. But that vice president is unable, I think, to effectively carry forward that job,” Ramaswamy told Fox News Digital. 

“If race and gender are your basis for selecting someone for a job, and the identity of your party is tied to that temple of identity politics, then they will risk looking hypocritical if they sideline her after they sideline Biden. And I do think Michelle Obama offers them a convenient path out of that problem,” he added.

4. Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer

Despite declining a run for the White House this year, Whitmer appeared to leave the door open for a future presidential run after her convincing re-election win during the 2022 midterm elections, a year that was expected to be a difficult one for Democrats.

Whitmer first gained popularity during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, which later turned into a sharp divide over how she handled lockdowns in her state. Nonetheless, it put her on the charts as a national player in Democrat politics.

In Nov., “Real Time” host Bill Maher took a swipe at Whitmer, accusing her of running a “shadow campaign” for president during an interview with Biden primary challenger Dean Phillips, but did not say what made him believe that.

Phillips told Maher that before he decided to run for president against Biden, he unsuccessfully tried to recruit Whitmer, saying she would make an “outstanding president.”

5. Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear

Beshear has been seen as a rising star within the party given his status as one of the most popular governors in the country, despite being a Democrat leading a red state. That status grew following a big re-election win last year over then-Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron, who was considered a rising GOP star.

Multiple former officials and people familiar with Beshear’s rise told Fox News Digital following his election victory last year that he would be someone to watch as a national political player for Democrats, and didn’t rule out any future aspirations.

Those sources cited Beshear’s ability to connect across party lines and bring Republicans and Democrats into his policy fold as something the nation was looking for amid a staunch political divide.

Media outlets across the country also sang Beshear’s praises following his victory, suggesting his future was bright.

And the other 14% say he’s too old for last rites. I know that was harsh. Now you know you’re in trouble when the percent[age] of Americans who say you’re too old is actually higher than your age. We can’t get 86% of people to oppose murder. But think about it, 86%, Americans are finally united. Joe Biden’s promise finally came through. He brought us together. I mean, in believing that he’s a f**** mess but still. What’s even sadder, however, is that it took a special prosecutor’s investigation to convince dead-end Democrats to come around to what’s been obvious to us for a long time; that they’re as brain-dead as he is. Robert Hur’s investigation may have been about Biden’s handling of classified documents, but in the end, it was really a wellness check on the old guy in the White House that’s been missing in action. And the result is exactly what we already knew. The lights are on, but no one’s home. Now, you know things are bad for the left when you’ve lost a female who slept with Bill Clinton. But also Hillary Clinton. 

HILLARY CLINTON: I talk to people in the White House all the time. And, you know, they know it’s an issue. But as I like to say, look, it’s a legitimate issue.

So Hillary went from this “IM WITH HER” to this “I’M WITH HUR.” Huh? Pretty clever. Oh shut up. So maybe she’s thinking though that she can replace Biden once Gavin Newsom and Michelle Obama kill themselves. You know, it’s not against the law to pose questions. But it gets worse. Over at the progressive mothership, The New York Times ran no fewer than three editorials focusing on this dark moment in Biden’s presidency, questioning his temperament and cognitive sharpness. They even included it in their Sunday crossword puzzle. Nine across, the hint was ice cream- eating cadaver that farts dust. 

Terrible, so bad.

“The combination of Biden’s age and his absence from the public stage has eroded the public’s confidence,” the paper said. “He looks as if he’s hiding or, worse, being hidden.” True, if the staffers could, they’d throw a sheet over him but that would only bring back memories of lunch with Robert Byrd. He was in the KKK, just [t]o remind people. So Joe’s lost it and the Dems are freaking out. On CNN, Democratic advisor Paul Begala said this: “I’m a Biden supporter. And I slept like a baby last night. I woke up every two hours crying and went to bed. This is terrible for Democrats.”

That’s like saying Iron Man’s superpower is rust. Here’s a closer look at Super Joe. Can you tell me what superpower this is?

If he were a superpower, his name would be “The Stumbler.” Of course, the White House is pushing back, saying “we don’t blame Republicans for their desperation to forget the Biden presidency.” Well, no, the problem isn’t Republicans trying to forget. Remember, the report says Joe doesn’t know when he was vice president. He’s the one doing the forgetting. But the question I keep having is, is this really dementia? What if that illness was guilty of stolen valor? I mean, even a young Joe Biden was a dishonest, amoral, narcissistic a**. 

Saying Joe has dementia is like saying heroin may cause drowsiness. I mean, for Joe, dementia may be the frosting on an already s*** cupcake. And that’s a problem for America, which is why the Dems are getting desperate and stupid. The Biden Harris campaign just joined communist China’s social media platform TikTok. This after Biden had signed a law banning TikTok from government phones. Luckily, he’s too senile to be prosecuted. But let’s not forget TikTok’s mission is to brainwash American users. Luckily again, Biden remains immune. You can’t wash what you don’t have. It’s why you never see Michael Loftus at a laundromat. He doesn’t have clothes. All right. But as Biden skipped the traditional Super Bowl Sunday interview, the White House released a video with Joe complaining about snacks.

PRESIDENT BIDEN: It’s Super Bowl Sunday. If you’re anything like me, you like to be surrounded by a snack or two while watching the big game. You know, when buying snacks for the game, you might have noticed one thing sports drinks bottles a smaller, a bag of chips has fewer chips, but they’re still charging it just as much. I’ve had enough of what they call shrinkflation. I’m calling on companies to put a stop to this. 

Yeah, potato chip bags used to be fuller. You know, like Joe’s Depends are today. But think about it. He’s bashing snacks on the biggest snack day in the universe. Talk about not reading the room. It’s like bringing up Roe v. Wade at a baby shower. Thank you, Michael. Now, the Hur report sets up an unsolvable equation. Call it the Biden paradox. If Joe Biden is incompetent, too incompetent to be charged, then how can he be competent to be our president? And if he is competent to be president, then why wasn’t he charged like Trump was? Apparently, the answer as, Jonathan Turley points out, is for the White House to claim the fault lies with Robert Hur, not the president who can’t tell Egypt from Mexico. But as Joe would say, denial isn’t just a river in Tijuana.

Let’s speak directly to the media, those legacy reporters who continue to deny what nearly all Americans know to be true. This is a watershed moment. We’ve all heard the Hur report. We’ve seen the conclusions from someone who got to interview the president without you, the media, running interference. If you’re ever going to regain any credibility, you might want to come clean. Otherwise, you’re going to end up just like Joe Biden: with one foot in the grave and the other in your mouth.

Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin was transferred to the critical care unit at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center Sunday night after being transported to the hospital earlier in the day.

Austin was transported to the hospital by his security detail on Sunday for symptoms suggesting an emergent bladder issue, according to a statement released by the Department of Defense from his doctors.

Following a series of tests and evaluations, Austin was admitted into the critical care unit Sunday night for supportive care and close monitoring, the statement added.

“At this time, it is not clear how long Secretary Austin will remain hospitalized,” the statement said. “The current bladder issue is not expected to change his anticipated full recovery. His cancer prognosis remains excellent. Updates on the Secretary’s condition will be provided as soon as possible.”

Austin’s powers have been temporarily transferred to Deputy Defense Secretary Kathleen Hicks as of Sunday afternoon.

The defense secretary’s planned trip to Brussels this week for meetings on Ukraine and NATO has been canceled, and the Wednesday Ukraine Defense Contact Group will meet virtually, the department said Monday.

In December, Austin was admitted to Walter Reed and underwent prostate cancer surgery. He developed an infection a week later and was readmitted to the hospital.

Hicks filled in at the time while she was on a previously scheduled leave.

President Biden, other senior administration officials and the American public were not told for days about his hospitalization or his cancer. Austin was admitted to Walter Reed on Jan.1, but the Pentagon failed to inform the public, press and Congress until Jan. 5.

Officials also acknowledged that the White House had not been informed about Austin’s hospitalization until Jan. 4.

Austin said earlier this month that he apologized directly to Biden for not giving advance notice about his hospitalization for prostate cancer treatment.

“I want to be crystal clear. We did not handle this right and I did not handle this right,” Austin said during a press briefing on Feb. 1, regarding his hospitalization for prostate cancer treatment. “I should have told the president about my cancer diagnosis. I should have also told my team and the American public, and I take full responsibility. I apologize to my teammates and to the American people.”

The Kansas City Chiefs are Super Bowl champions for the third time in the past five seasons, but it wasn’t looking that way in the first half against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday night in Las Vegas. 

Travis Kelce’s sideline meltdown where he almost knocked over his head coach, Andy Reid, showed that very clearly. 

Kelce spoke to ESPN’s Booger McFarland about the incident, where the star tight end was screaming at Reid following an Isiah Pacheco fumble in the red zone. His answer was a cryptic one.

“Man, it was uh … I’m gonna keep it between us unless my mic’d up tells the world. I was just telling him how much I love him,” Kelce said with a smile. 

Patrick Mahomes added: “That moment right there, that speaks to the team that we are. Everybody loves it. Everybody loves the game, loves to compete and Coach Reid wants to compete.”

The Chiefs’ offense stalled at the beginning of the game, but Patrick Mahomes found wide receiver Mecole Hardman 52 yards down the field to spark the team by getting right into the red zone.

But on the next play, with Kelce not in the game, Pacheco fumbled and the 49ers recovered. That’s when Kelce ran over to Reid and let him hear it. 

If the Chiefs hadn’t won the game, that incident may have been a lot worse looking back at what transpired. However, the Chiefs were able to right the ship in the second half, forcing overtime where Mahomes led a game-winning touchdown drive, where Hardman caught the final score of the game. 

Kelce played a vital role in mounting the comeback, especially after his first half was dreadful with just one catch on the first drive for one yard. 

He ended the game with a team-high 93 yards on nine catches to help collect his third Super Bowl ring of his career.

Coaches and players have gone have each other on the sideline throughout the years in the NFL, especially in high-tension games like the Super Bowl. 

But Reid is beloved by his entire team, especially Kelce who has been a part of this Chiefs dynasty from the beginning. 

The tantrum may have been the wake-up call needed for both Reid and Kelce in this game, but like the latter said, he was mic’d up for the game.

A Los Angeles shooting victim’s grieving mother confronted progressive District Attorney George Gascón with tough questions last week, slamming his allegedly soft-on-crime policies to his face.

“My child was killed by a gang member, and you had more sympathy for that gang member than my child who was killed in front of my home,” Emma Rivas said during a district attorney debate over policies on gang-related crime enhancements last Thursday. 

“Can you explain to me? Because I’ve been looking for you for four years.”

Gascón responded, “I am broken-hearted for your loss,” before defending his stance on criminal justice reform, adding, “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. We as a country have been doing the same thing for generations.”

Rivas, whose son was murdered in Los Angeles in 2016, joined “Fox & Friends Weekend” on Sunday to follow up on the tense exchange she had with the embattled DA.

“We cannot have that kind of progressive DA in office,” she said. “This is the first time in history, 180 years, that we’ve ever had a DA that has a heart for criminals and not a heart for the victims. There are parents that lost their children to murder that are 16, 17 years old and getting five years in jail. Where’s the justice in this?

“And he sits there smiling and laughing, and he just doesn’t care. He’s not fit to be a DA, and his assistant is a defense attorney. How did we get to this? And why aren’t people realizing this man is no good for LA? He already ruined San Francisco, and now he’s doing the same thing in Los Angeles County.”

Gascón barred prosecutors from pursuing advanced punishments for gang members after taking over as district attorney, according to FOX 11 in LA.

Multiple deputy district attorneys running against him voiced their disagreement with the policy last Thursday.

Rivas, meanwhile, slammed the policies’ impact on sentencing for her son’s killer.

Gascón has previously defended his crime policies, telling KTLA-TV in June 2022 that he knows “how to keep communities safe,” blaming rising violence in the county on the COVID-19 pandemic.

He also garnered the endorsement of The Los Angeles Times’ editorial board for his re-election bid as its members insisted “voters would be wise to reject the nonsense and keep Gascón on the job and criminal justice reform in place.”

Hillary Clinton weighed in on concerns surrounding President Biden’s age, saying it’s a “legitimate issue.”

“I talked to people in the White House all the time, and you know, they know it’s an issue, but as I like to say, ‘look, it’s a legitimate issue,’” Clinton told MSNBC’s Alex Wagner on Wednesday. 

The former Democratic presidential nominee noted that it is also a “legitimate issue” for former President Donald Trump in his campaign for the Republican nomination.

“It’s a legitimate issue for Trump who’s only three years younger, right?” Clinton said. “So it’s an issue.”

The former first lady continued, saying that she is for Biden because of his “merits.”

“I think he has done a really good job as president,” she added.

Clinton suggested that the president should focus more on the wisdom he has gained over the years and “kid” about his age.

“I think Biden also should lean into the fact that he’s experienced, and that experience is not just in the political arena,” she said. “It’s like, the stuff of, you know, human experience, character, wisdom.

“I think he should be willing to really pull that out … and I think he should kid more about it,” Clinton said.

Hillary’s comment came as former President Bill Clinton’s lead strategist, James Carville, argued Saturday that the White House has little confidence in President Biden after he turned down a Super Bowl Sunday interview.

Carville, a long-time Democrat, gave his take on the situation while being interviewed on CNN on Saturday.

“It’s the biggest television audience, not even close, and you get a chance to do a 20-25-minute interview on that day,” Carville began.

“And you don’t do it? That’s a kind of sign that the staff or yourself doesn’t have much confidence in you,” Carville continued. “There’s no other way to read this.”

Earlier this week, former Bill Clinton strategist and CNN political commentator Paul Begala admitted that Special Counsel Robert Hur’s indictment of President Biden’s memory and Biden’s response was “terrible for Democrats.”

“Oh yeah. Look, I’m a Biden supporter, and I slept like a baby last night: I woke up every two hours crying and wet the bed,” Begala quipped on CNN last Friday.

“This is terrible for Democrats. And anybody with a functioning brain knows that,” he declared. 

The top democratic strategists’ comments came after Special Counsel Robert Hur’s report revealed that Biden willfully retained classified U.S. documents as a private citizen.

The report recommenced no charges against the 46th president over his actions, partly because he would have a defense at trial as a “sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.”
