In some good news, a cow has been found alive on Old Bar beach on the Mid North Coast.
The cow was swept up in floodwaters before it was found by local Layla Philipson on the beach.
Taree sits 18 kilometres inland from Old Bar, and although it’s not known where the cow was washed in – it’s lived through a near-miraculous tale.
