Dennis Itumbi Releases Behind the Scene Photos of Rigathi Gachagua Practising for Debate

President William Ruto’s digital strategist Dennis Itumbi has shared never seen photos of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua preparing for the debate against Azimio La Umoja’s Martha Karua.

On Tuesday, July 19, Gachagua received praises from a section of Kenyans who praised him for his eloquence during the session.

Itumbi shared on his social media accounts, behind-the-scenes images as the DP prepared for the debate.

The digital strategist highlighted that the alliance worked hard during the campaigns, adding that nothing was taken for granted to ensure they clinched the presidency.

“Hustler Nation worked hard. In between the Campaigns, we practiced for the debates. Nothing was taken for granted,” he wrote.

Annoy Gachagua

He further stated that to give Gachagua a situation to work on, they had a lady to act as Martha Karua through their preparations.

Itumbi lauded the lady for her contribution to the campaign, adding that she did her part to perfection in annoying Gachagua to test his temperament during the televised debate.

“We even had a ‘Martha Karua’ whose brief was to annoy the then DP candidate Rigathi. She did her assignment well..she even went barefoot,” he added.

Ruto showers Gachagua with praises after debate

As TUKO.co.ke reported, Ruto showered Gachagua with praises after facing off with Karua in the deputy presidential debate.

Ruto who was taking a stab at the presidency for the first time expressed confidence in Gachagua, saying he got what it takes to take the Kenya Kwanza Alliance to victory through the August 9 General Election.

He thanked him for the performance, asking on God to bless the former Mathira lawmaker.

“Congratulations Rigathi Gachagua my very able running mate. Kenyans are confident that in you we have a seasoned, passionate and focused leader to help us steer Kenya Kwanza to victory and the nation to prosperity. We thank almighty God na ubarikiwe sana. Never mind the media,” Ruto wrote on his official Twitter handle after the debate.
