Eric Omondi Gives Ultimatum to Promoter Who Conned South African DJ Stuck in Kenya: “You’ll Go to Jail”

Comedian Eric Omondi has called out an unidentified promoter who went missing in action after bringing a female South African DJ to Kenya.

According to the entertainer, DJ Chichi was brought to Kenya by the promoter on October 15, after they agreed that he would organise events for her in Kenya.

DJ Chichi claims the promoter went into hiding immediately after she landed in Kenya.

She claimed the promoter conned her almost KSh KSh 48,000. and was supposed to publicise her concert and carter for her bills.

Chichi has since been left stranded in Kenya with accommodation bills to defray and no travel ticket to fly her back to South Africa.

Eric Omondi threatens to sue promoter

Speaking to bloggers, the funnyman gave the promoter a 6-hour ultimatum to give the South African beauty back her money.

Eric noted that the promoter is not a Kenyan but a half-cast of Nigeria and Uganda.

He told him he would rot in jail if he fails to pay Chich by tomorrow, Friday, September 21.

Eric also warned Kenyan promoters against bringing foreign artistes to Kenya without his consent.

“DJ Chichi was brought here by a con man who has been conning people in the name of a promoter. She was brought to Kenya on September 15, This woman has been here for one month and five days; she has accrued bills of KSh 200,000,” Eric said.

He added:

“The thief, thug and conman who brought this woman to Kenya and left her here for almost two months has 6 hours to call her, pay her expenses, pay her and get her an air ticket to South Africa.”

Eric accepts Ringtone’s job offer

A few days ago, Ringtone offered to employ Eric as his houseboy and pay him KSh 50,000 per month.

Eric accepted the job offer but his condition was that it had to be in Rundu and not elsewhere.

“Mimi kazi sijakataa, nimekubali hiyo kazi ya KSh 50,000 every month. But ni lazima ikuwe ni Runda and not South C where he stays. Nikotayari kureport kwa hiyo kazi on Monday juu amezoea kujoke,” Eric said.
