Kaizer Chiefs star Ashley Du Preez has reportedly been hospitalised following Saturday’s loss against Cape Town City.
Du Preez was on the receiving end of a reckless tackle by City man Taariq Fielies, which saw the defender earn a straight red-card.

The speedy attacker tried to continue playing on after the injury but a few minutes later, he was back on the turf in heaps of pain.
He was then substituted off just before the half-time whistle went but the latest update on his condition will worry Amakhosi fans!
Kaizer Chiefs issue worrying Du Preez update
“Without being prejudice, the player Ashley Du Preez has been admitted to hospital with a suspected fracture to his leg. So it might be more serious than it looked.” – Amakhosi media officer Vina Maphosa told SABC SPORT.
