Keating ‘hardly alone in being a disappointment’ as former prime minister: Rita Panahi

Sky News host Rita Panahi says Paul Keating is “hardly alone in being a disappointment” as a former prime minister after defending China with “pure unconditional love” at the National Press Club.

“The sort of unbridled admiration that would see a grown man, a former prime minister no less, happily beclown himself on the national stage,” Ms Rita said.

“But he (Paul Keating) still has a long way to go to catch Kevin Rudd and Malcolm Turnbull when it comes to being considered the worst living ex-prime minister in the country.”
