Kenyans have once again proven their unity and willingness to help those in need after coming to the rescue of a young man.
The man, only identified as Hillary, contacted Divinar Joseph, a Facebook influencer and mother of quadruplets seeking help to raise money for a visa to the UK.
He disclosed that he had found work abroad but could not raise enough money to acquire a visa.
“Since last month, I have been trying to raise money for the visa, but I see the deadline I was given is almost here.
I’m worried about losing the job opportunity because I struggled to get here.”
Hillary then pleaded with Divinar to help him get the money, saying he would pay back double.

“I am please begging if anyone would be willing to pay for my visa. Before leaving Kenya, I will have worked and repaid some of the money. I will pay the rest while abroad.
I thought the money I had was enough to process my relocation, but it was finished along the way.”
Hillary also shared the appointment letter showing he got a job as a restaurant attendant aboard a cruise ship.
The better indicated that he must report for duty by January 10, 2023.
Four days after the Sunday, December 4, post by Divinar, she shared an update.
She posted a photo indicating Kenyans had raised over KSh 20,000 for Hillary, and he completed the visa application.
“Hillary is very grateful for the financial support you gave him. He paid the visa. Be blessed people,” wrote Divinar.
