A man has died following a crash in Southland on Boxing Day.
Police said three people were taken to hospital following the single-vehicle crash on Edendale-Woodlands Highway around 7:20pm on Monday.
A man who was in the vehicle died in hospital this morning.
“Our thoughts and sympathy are with the man’s friends and family at this difficult time,” police said.
Inquiries into the crash continue.
The holiday period road toll is now four.
