Nairobi: Brilliant Grade 5 Girl Wows Kenyans with Impeccable Handwriting: “Computer Font”

A young Grade Five girl who studies at Emerald International School in Nairobi has warmed the hearts of netizens after her letter to Senator Edwin Sifuna emerged online.

The audacious 10-year-old girl inspired many with her beautiful handwriting and her flair for language, as her letter to the senator was concise and understandable.

In the letter, Kylie Moraa told Sifuna that she was working on a Social Studies project and thus needed to ask him some questions about Nairobi county.

“I am Kylie Moraa, a student at Emerald International School, Grade Five, and I am 10 years old. I am writing to you because I am working on a social studies project. I respect that you were voted senator of Nairobi on August 9, 2022. I have never written to a senator before so I respect and honour this opportunity to do so,” the introductory part of Kylie’s handwritten letter read.

The brilliant young student went on to ask Sifuna some questions, which included:

“Which president of the republic of Kenya do you admire the most? What are your major goals to accomplish for the good of the whole country?” she asked.

The 10-year-old girl told the senator she would love to hear from and meet him so that she could share some ideas with him.

Kylie vehemently inspired the senator, and after reading her letter, he invited her and her classmates for an exclusive tour of the Senate.

“Little Kylie,10, wrote me a letter asking to meet and share some of her ideas. So we had her class, the 5th graders at Emerald International School in Dagoretti South, visit the Senate! Brilliant young people well on their way to success,” Sifuna said.
