Pedestrian seriously injured after being hit by car in Hastings

A man hit by a car in Hastings on Monday night was taken to hospital in a serious condition.

The man was crossing a road in the area of Stortford Lodge at about 9.30pm when he was struck by a car.

He was rushed to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.

Police are investigating the incident.
