Since the long Eid vacation, many employees have struggled to get back on track with their work due to disrupted sleep schedules and routines.
What if another long weekend followed shortly after returning to work?
Your productivity, whether in daily life or at work, might get affected. So here are four effective methods to regain your productive momentum.
Silent Meetings
This might be a new approach for some, but it’s highly effective. Silent meetings involve gathering as a team and individually brainstorming on topics that need discussion. Each person drafts their thoughts silently before the official start of the brainstorming session, allowing everyone to bring their ideas to the table smoothly.
Incorporate Micro-Workouts
Take a few minutes to exercise before heading to where you need to be at your best version. A micro-workout could be a quick physical exercise that boosts your energy and helps your body function optimally.
Reverse Planning
It might not seem that effective, but it’s worth the try. Listing your work tasks and starting from the last one, then moving backward in reverse order, can create a sense of progress and speed that motivates you.
Adopt the ‘Two-Minute Rule’
If you have short, simple tasks on your plate, completing them as soon as possible can give you a sense of accomplishment and make it feel like you’ve finished a great deal of your pending work. It’s a successful self-encouragement technique worth following.
