As cheetahs were re-introduced in India, there will soon be Cheetah tourism where the Madhya Pradesh tourism is keen to start the same as per the authorities.
For the first time in 75 years will be able to see Cheetahs in the wild.
“There is a lot of excitement around the cheetahs. They are in good health and have adapted very well to Indian conditions. They are already hunting. If all goes well, we believe it can be opened up in February. Our preparations are on.” Said, Chief Minister.
The cheetahs were re-introduced in India on September 17th and were under quarantine for some days. Slowly, under the watchful eyes of project experts, they were moved to bigger enclosures and also they started to hunt in Kuno National Park, Madhya Pradesh.
The state government has shared that their plan is also to bring the local tribal villages and their culture and traditions into the limelight.
Once the cheetah has been released in the wild, there will be plans to set up Cheetah tourism.
