Unverified rumors of a possible Spider-Man Spider-Verse video game have surfaced online. These rumors may have sprung from the recent Insomniac Games data hack. Now, fans are fully embracing what the future of a Spider-Verse game could look like.
It is important to note that nothing major is verified in the leaks. However, that has never stopped fans from speculating as if it’s true. In a since-deleted post, Reddit user sut345 posted images that could link Sony Pictures’ hit films to the video game genre.
Although Insomniac Games has made it clear that they’re busy working on Spider-Man 3, rumors of a multiplayer game have been very present. These leaks could very well be the multiplayer game being referenced.
“Maybe it’s just the Spider-Verse related content in the game or the guy worked on one of the Spider-Verse movies. What makes me think it’s a game is that it looks like they only listed games in the first picture.”

Insomniac Games Has Their Hands Full
Not only is Insomniac Games working on Spider-Man 3, but they’re also still in development with a new Wolverine game. The Wolverine game will be set in the same universe as Insomniac’s Spider-Man games.
Much else about the game remains a mystery, but more trailers and information should come out in the months leading up to its release. As of now, the game is set to release in late 2024/2025.
Everything that has leaked should be taken with a grain of salt. However, the excitement for a potential Spider-Verse game would undoubtedly get the video game industry excited.
