Sky News Reporter Fouad Haidar says the Magic Millions summer carnival kicked off in the Gold Coast this morning as attendees prepare for a celebrity polo match this afternoon.
Mr Haidar said the event is set to bring in more than $42 million for Queensland with more than 19,000 visitors arriving in the state for the carnival.
“As soon as the matches are done for today, the whole entire week is going to be dedicated for bidding and sales, and to be topped off at the end of the week with the races,” he said.
