Police in Auckland have arrested three people after a man was seriously injured at a petrol station in the suburb of New Lynn.
Officers were called to the Gull service station on Clark Street at 6.30pm on Wednesday.
Their inquiries led to a house on Stewart Road in Mt Albert where arrests were made.
A scene examination has been carried out at the service station.
An inquiry is under way into how the man was hurt, and police are appealing for any witnesses to contact them.
