A late-night fire has left a Wairoa home with significant damage overnight.
A Fire and Emergency spokesperson said they were notified of a blaze at an Apatu St home in Wairoa, in northern Hawke’s Bay, about 1.15am on Wednesday.
Three fire trucks attended the scene, two from Wairoa and another from Nuhaka.
The house was heavily damaged in the blaze, but there were no injuries, the spokesperson said.
A fire investigator was looking into the incident to determine the cause.
