Zion Williamson was asked to name the best player in the NBA right now during an interview in Salt Lake City. The 22-year-old power forward went with Nikola Jokic who is the front-runner to win his third straight MVP award.
“I think who’s playing the best basketball on my eyes right now, I got to go with [Nikola] Jokic. I mean, he’s averaging a triple-double right now, number one in the West, playing great basketball.”
This season Jokic is averaging 24.7 points, 11.5 rebounds and 10.1 assists in 33.6 minutes per game.
