Electric car manufacturers are “not telling” the public about the enormous cost of a replacement battery, says news.com.au Motoring Editor Richard Blackburn.
Replacement batteries for electric cars are “not cheap,” Mr Blackburn said.
Mr Blackburn managed to get a response from Lexus, which quoted him $47,000 for a replacement battery.
A battery for an electric car needs to be replaced every 8 years, he said.
