Knicks Achieve Record-Setting First Half Against Bulls
The New York Knicks made a historic mark by accumulating 84 points in the first half of their latest game, equaling the franchise record for the highest score in the opening two quarters. This impressive performance allowed them to build a substantial 32-point lead over the Chicago Bulls as they entered halftime.
Dalton Knecht, making his debut with the Knicks, contributed to this record-setting first half by nailing a three-pointer, which brought the team’s total score to 84 points.
Jalen Brunson was a key player in the first quarter, scoring 22 points. This achievement marked Brunson’s 11th instance of reaching at least 20 points in a single quarter while playing for the Knicks, the highest number recorded in the team’s history since the statistic began being tracked in the 1996-97 season.
