More than 200,000 permit applications remain in limbo after Supreme Court ruling

Puerto Rico Supreme Court again declared the 2020 Joint Regulation for Permit Evaluation and Issuance null and void, a setback for the Planning Board and the Department of Economic Development and Commerce (DDEC, Spanish acronym), who insisted that the regulation was valid.
