Health officials are alerting NSW’s Central Coast community about a new casual exposure site at Gosford Hospital.
Central Coast Local Health District has advised anyone who sat in or transited through the lounge area adjacent to the patient enquiries desk within the main entry at Gosford Hospital on Friday, October 8, between 11:30am and 1:30pm, is a casual contact.
All casual contacts, regardless of vaccination status or whether they are displaying symptoms, must be tested for COVID-19 and isolate until a negative result is received.
Anyone else who was in the hospital’s main entry has been asked to remain vigilant for symptoms.
Gosford Hospital remains open and the exposure site is having no impact on patient care.
