We talk about love and couples all the time. But apart from romantic love, harmonic duos can include lovers, siblings, friends, and more. It’s also refreshing to witness healthy relationships on-screen to renew faith in real-life ones! Here are our favorite Ramadan duos who have undeniable chemistry and we’re cheering for!
Adam and Nadine – El Harsha El 7:
Despite the hardships, the drama, and the endless revelations about marriage, Adam and Nadine have a wholesome and fearful yet hopeful dynamic. This relationship gave people an insight that entertainment can represent realistic couples and love stories instead of the cliche ones we grew up with.
Shafik and Wageeh – El Soffara:
The best thing about this duo is how easy yet complex their relationship is. And this perfectly sums up how siblings can have dynamics that are not complicated but still have depth to them. Having Ahmed Amin and Taha Dessouky portray the two characters was the cherry on top.
Ahmed and Layla – Kamel El 3adad:
The best thing about this show is that it lightly explored heavy matters like single parents remarrying, children growing up away from a father or a mother figure, and other relationship dynamics. And the series was even more elevated with Ahmed and Layla’s relationship that’s full of understanding, empathy, and cordiality. Kudos to Sherif Salama who made it up for us as an audience by playing Ahmed’s character on Kamel El 3adad after playing Seif in Faten Amal Harby last year.
