The ASPSF team is thrilled to recognize Jay Barth as our January Volunteer of the Month.
Jay has served on the Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund Board of Directors for 5 years. In addition to his terms as Vice President and President, he has also participated in fundraising efforts, special event planning and played a pivotal role in the ASPSF 2.0 process, helping to pave the way for a strong, efficient future with a new organizational model.
Prior to his time with ASPSF, Jay served on the SPSF Pulaski County Board of Directors for 6 years, as Vice-Chair, Chair, and Chair of the Board Development Committee. He spearheaded the effort to edit by-laws and regularly assisted with Student Affairs.
“Jay joined the ASPSF Board at a critical time in our agency’s growth,” says Ruthanne Hill, ASPSF Director. “His quiet leadership, vision, and innate sense of diplomacy were enormously helpful as we worked through long work sessions and deep discussions. I’ll be forever thankful he was part of this process!”
Jay is a phenomenal advocate for the organization, a passionate fundraiser and a strategic thinker. Thank you, Jay, for your dedication and vision. Your contributions will impact single parents for years to come.
