It was no accident Meghan Markle set her sights on Prince Harry, so says TV and Radio presenter Lizzie Cundy.
The 53-year-old, who counts herself as one of the few who befriended the Duchess of Sussex before she met Prince Harry.
Speaking to The Daily Mail, she said: “I was asked to look after Meghan when she came over here.
“She wanted to meet someone.
“We have a clip of her saying: ‘I want to be a London girl, I love London men and I love everything to do with London’.”

The clip is set to be aired in Lizzie’s Amazon Prime Show, red Carpet Uncut.
The former wing took Meghan under her wing when the soon-to-be-duchess was still best known for her role in US drama Suits.
But once Meghan, now 39, met Harry, now 36, she stopped returning Lizzie’s calls.

“She ghosted me once the engagement hit,” Lizzie told The Mail.
“She’s ghosted quite a lot of people, obviously, including her family, so I’m not the worst person she’s ghosted.”
Lizzie doesn’t appear to be too cut up about the end of her friendship with Meghan and joked that the royal couple had named their baby after her.
Baby Lilibet Diana was born on June 4th this year. Lizzie laughed that Meghan had been inspired by her when naming her child.
Lizzie told OK! Magazine in an interview: “I was called Lilibet. It’s short for Elizabeth. It was my nickname at school!
“Thank you, Meghan. You ghosted me – and now you’re calling your child after me.
“I was quite shocked by it because it’s an unusual name. Maybe that’s her way of reaching out. But I wish them well and I think it’s wonderful.”
It’s likely Lizzie was simply making a wisecrack, as the official inspiration for the name was in fact the Queen, rather than Lizzie Cundy.
