A CAR has driven into a large crowd of people and left 17 injured including three children in Poland.
Reports say the driver ploughed into the group of people before fleeing the scene and continuing to cause chaos through his life endangering driving.
Two of those hit in the horror crash in Szczecin, Poland are in a critical condition, according to Poland-24.com.
He has been identified as a 33-year-old man and is believed to have been finally stopped by the public after causing further issues.
Polish media claims he veered off the road when he smashed into the people on a pedestrian crossing
The driver continued to cause more devastating chaos as he kept on driving around the city erratically, say GP.24pl.
He reportedly rammed into several cars and was only stopped at a bus stop by horrified witnesses.
There he was probably detained by witnesses and handed over to the police.
Cops are not set to investigate the situation.
It is also unclear why he drove off the road and onto a pedestrian crossing that is not intended for cars.
