The Australian’s Environment Editor Graham Lloyd says there are a number of issues with the Victorian government’s decision to boost the renewable energy sector and revive the State Energy Commission if re-elected.
“You may make an argument for government control or ownership but behind that control needs to be a plan,” he told Sky News host Paul Murray.
“What we’re seeing that’s been put forward in Victoria – there’s not a lot there about firming capacity, about things that are going to keep the energy market going.”
